So shivering eyelids
Staying still to not lose control.
Salty
Must be the heart’s corners deepest,
And the walls so fragile,
Melting to form
Tears.

Lonesome
Round moon
Not a star in sight
Cold weather
I walk lonely tonight
Are those waves

Wars within fought.
I am still me-
A chirpy small bird
Flying alone
No flock or herd.
Mind wanders around
Cold wind hugs tight,
Am a winner
Yet walking lonely tonight…

Her eyes poured all night long.
Rain on the pillow.
